LG Optimus 4X HD announced with ICS and Tegra 3



LG Mobile has officially unveiled the successor to the Optimus 2X. Touting a quad-core, Tegra 3 processor running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the LG Optimus 4X HD is one of the first Tegra 3 handsets in the world.
LG scored points when it announced the first dual-core smartphone last year and wants repeat that record with the first quad-core smartphone this year.

The Optimus 4X HD sports a massive 4.7-inch display and a thin profile of just 8.9mm (close to the LG Prada 3.0 which is at 8.5mm).
The Optimus 4X HD is expected to be released some time in the 2nd quarter of this year.
